About Dr. Rajan
Dr. Rajan created Bellaire Allergy & Asthma in 2020. She graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a bachelor’s degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology and then went on to complete her medical training at McGovern Medical School in Houston in 2009. She trained in Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas and then completed a fellowship in Allergy & Immunology at Scripps Clinic in San Diego, California. Dr. Rajan was in private practice in Houston from 2014-2020 prior to starting Bellaire Allergy & Asthma. She is board certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine as well as the American Board of Allergy and Immunology.
Dr. Rajan values the development of a healthy physician-patient relationship and places an emphasis on educating patients about their allergic disease and its management. She prides herself in being patient, empathetic and punctual.

As a board-certified physician in allergy, asthma and immunology, Dr. Rajan has undergone extensive training to be considered an expert in the field of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.
Pathway to Becoming a Board-Certified Allergist
Dr. Rajan completed her Bachelor’s degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD (4 years)
She then attended McGovern Medical School in Houston, TX (4 years)
Dr. Rajan completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX (3 years)
She completed 2 years of fellowship training at Scripps Clinic in San Diego where she was trained to diagnose and treat allergy, asthma and immunologic diseases (2 years)
After completing fellowship, Dr. Rajan passed the rigorous board examination which is used to prove an allergist’s competency in the field of Allergy/Immunology
